"Wordplay" (released 12/06) features 20 biblical spoofs of today's hits by Green Day, U2, Kanye West, Killers, Big & Rich, Bowling for Soup, Weezer, Daniel Powter, Uncle Kracker, Hoobastank, Trace Adkins, and Nickelback plus classics by Bon Jovi, Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Who, Joe Walsh, Steve Miller, and Whitesnake.
"Samson Comes Alive" (released 1/06) is our first full-length DVD -- a 21-song salute to our fans -- an entire evening of our most-requested biblical spoofs of rock hits from yesterday and today. Plus behind-the-scenes interviews with the boys in the band, and the usual onstage antics you'd expect from an ApologetiX show.
"Hits: The Road" (released 12/05) is a celebration of our 2005 tour that saw us play in 32 states. It features 20 tracks, including three songs available nowhere else -- "Walk on the Water" ("Smoke on the Water"), "Found God" ("Hound Dog"), and "With a Harp David Writes" ("A Hard Day's Night").
The "Downer of a Sister" DVD (released 11/04) is a parody of System of a Down's alternative hit "Chop Suey" and tells the biblical story (Genesis 29:15-30) of how Jacob came to be married to two wives, Rachel and Leah, as a result of his Uncle Laban's deception. The video brings that story to life, using an unconventional mix of Biblical costumes, modern rock music and old-fashioned humor.
