This Past Weekend in VA & OH Again
Mon., Feb. 19. 2007 1:50am EST
We celebrated more milestones at our concerts this past weekend in Round Hill VA (Friday), Rootstown OH (Saturday), and Newark OH (Sunday).
First of all, there's something about Larry. Larry Davis attended his 100th ApologetiX concert (in 17 different states) Saturday. What's more, he decided to count the miles in his milestones and see just how far he'd driven to those 100 shows. "I've driven around the world," he said, "25,340 miles (counting Saturday). That's not counting the 'wrong turn' miles, either. If you count them it would probably be 26,000."
Larry's daughter, Bethany, attended her 100th concert January 20 in Connellsville PA. She's now up to 107 (in 18 states). And they aren't the only father-daughter team to put up prodigious numbers. Rich Polick attended his 50th on Saturday, and his daughter, Marie, attended her 50th on Sunday. That makes them the second father-daughter team to see a combined 100 concerts.
