1. APOLOGETIX IN LEXINGTON KY THIS SATURDAY
Josie may have the Pussycats (Yes, I watched the cartoon as a kid, but not the movie as a grown-up!), but we've got the Wildcats! ApologetiX travels to the home of my wife's alma mater this weekend, the University of Kentucky, for a special outreach concert featuring several bands, organized by Frontline Ministries. On campus, the event has been publicized by the Wesley Foundation, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Baptist Student Union, Campus Crusade for Christ and the Christian Student's Fellowship, so we're hoping and praying for a good day and an effective outreach. We've also gotten word from the Christian Motorcyclist's Association (CMA) to expect a good turnout from their guys.
Sat., April 21, 4-8 p.m. (There are several bands -- ApologetiX plays at 6:15-7:45 p.m.) Triangle Park (next to the Civic Center) Lexington KY Contact: Jay Kerr 859-858-0493 Email: paliden777@yahoo.com
2. APOLOGETIX IN BEAVER PA NEXT WEDNESDAY?

Next weekend, we get a chance to really put the "jet" in ApoloGETiX as we do an unlikely whirlwind tour of Dallas, Philly and Janesville WI. That's pretty fitting, since Saturday night we play a concert with Geoff Moore, whose backing band was called the Distance.

4. UPDATE ON JILL FLAHERTY, WIFE OUR OUR FORMER DRUMMER BOB
Here's the latest word from our old drummer, Bob Flaherty, in regard to his wife, Jill.
"I just wanted to say thank you to you, the guys in the band, the wives and ALL the people who have prayed for Jill and I over the past week. We received close to 200 emails. People I know, don't know, people I met, people who think they met me, people from France, South Africa, New York, Arizona, Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Seattle, and who knows where else....thank you, please don't stop praying.
Right now Jill is stable and we are just waiting until May 10, when she gets a third MRI (pictures of her brain). There is still the smallest of chances that she may just have an infection that would clear up with the medicine she is taking. If that were true, she would be 100% in a month. The doctors believe she has a tumor. If that is true, she will need to get a biopsy (a sample of the tissue from the affected area). The doctors are not too excited about this procedure based on the location of the ėtumor.' Then, depending on the results of the biopsy and how fast the thing is growing, they may possibly have to operate. So, we are not out of the woods by far. I covet all the prayers and couldn't begin to tell you how much we need and appreciate them. Thank you so much!"
If you'd like to email Bob and encourage him or tell him your praying, please send your note to rocknbobby@yahoo.com.
Thank you all for your support of Bob and your support of the rest of us!
Apologetically,
J.

Matthew 9:12-13 On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
