This Past Weekend in KY & MO
Sun., Nov. 11. 2007 11:30pm EST
As they say, Missouri loves company, so we surrounded this past Saturday's show in St. Louis with two shows in Kentucky -- Bowling Green KY (Friday) and Burlington KY (Sunday).
ApologetiX lead singer J. Jackson felt right at home; his wife, Lisa, was born in Missouri, but was raised in Kentucky.
Honorable mention to Sarah Thiel, who drove over 800 miles from Colorado with two friends, so she could celebrate her birthday at an ApologetiX concert Saturday in St. Louis. She sent us an email after getting back home:
Thanks so much for being amazing and letting God use you! Your prayers for a safe trip home were definitely answered. Our car did break down in the middle of Kansas. We broke a hose and they said that we were really lucky that our car didn't catch on fire. So thanks so much, because it really could've been bad!
We made it home at about midnight but we listened to ApologetiX music all the way home and while we were stuck on the middle of the highway and it really encouraged us.
Again thanks, you really have no idea how much I was blessed and how much I appreciate you guys. You just don't even know, and I cannot believe the concert is over, and I will be praying like crazy for you guys!

Fort Collins CO Here's a note from another fan who came to Saturday's show:
My wife, who has like 11 hours of your CDs loaded on her iPod, and I attended the St. Louis concert and were certainly not disappointed. What a wonderful, live performance and what a great witness before doing "Enter Samson." Great concert and I think my wife now has all of your CDs, and I picked up some quality husband points for taking her to a concert I enjoyed.
Lindell "Smitty" Smith Here's one from two fans who came to see us at Sunday's show:Great concert in Burlington tonight. See you in Indianapolis next month.

Versailles IN Sunday's show was our second in Burlington this year. The first was in June ... in Burlington NC. Ironically, we've just heard from a promoter who wants us to come play Burlington IA in 2008.
Special thanks to:
Our concert coordinators: Susan West and the staff at WCVK (Bowling Green); Rich Permenter (St. Louis); and Jeff Perry (Burlington).
Our merchandise coordinators: Tina and Teresa (Bowling Green); Chris, Audra, and Alayna (St. Louis); and Taylor, Ashley, and Lana (Burlington).
Our bus driver: Virginia's own Dana "Clint" Brown, who completed his second tour of duty with us.
