This Past Weekend in PA & FL
Mon., Jan. 28. 2008 7:33pm EST
Stryper and Motley Crue once played together as the "Heaven and Hell" tour. This past weekend was more like the "Sunshine and Snow" tour, with a Saturday concert in Lakeland FL between concerts in Oakdale PA (Friday) and Monroeville PA (Sunday).
Here's a Florida follow-up email from Pastor Rick Fluman one of the coordinators of the concert in Lakeland:What can we possibly say? You guys were 'off the scale' outstanding. Don't think there is proper verbage to describe our time with you all Saturday night.
Fred and I firmly believe a new relationship and friendship began. That's what our God is all about right? Relationships? We pray that you guys travel safe, stay tight and keep on goin with God. Special thanks to:
Our concert coordinators: Rick Moslen (Oakdale); Pastors Fred Sosa and Rick Fluman (Lakeland); and Keri Baughman (Monroeville).
Our merchandise coordinators: Marie (Oakdale and Monroeville); Jon and Jim (Oakdale); Holly and Penny (Lakeland); and Jennifer, Meaghan, and Lindsay (Monroeville).
Our roadies: Rich (Oakdale, Lakeland, and Florida); Brandon (Oakdale and Monroeville); Larry (Oakdale); and Evan (Monroeville).
Honorable mention to:
Rich Polick, who drove the bus to our concerts in Oakdale and Monroeville and also flew down to Florida with us on his own dime. Rich has now seen us in play in 21 states/provinces, tying him with his daughter, Marie for the all-time record. Rich has been to 95 concerts overall, good enough for third place on the all-time list.
William Wilson and his family, who drove four and a half hours from the Florida Keys to come see us in Lakeland.
