This Past Weekend in IL & OH
Mon., Sep. 15. 2008 9:41am EDT
The Ohio State Buckeyes may have lost their #2 ranking in the NCAA football polls, but the Buckeye State just solidified its #2 ranking on the list of states we've played the most.
Our concert this past Sunday in Bellefontaine OH was our 89th ever in Ohio, trailing only our home state of Pennsylvania. Our concert this past Saturday in Farmer City IL was our 26th ever in the Prairie State, tying it with Virginia at #8 on our list.
We had some special guests at our Farmer City concert:My husband and I are missionaries in Costa Rica. A few years ago a youth worker (Gary Zustiak) brought down one of your CDs for my boys. They loved it (as did my husband)!
Right now we are back in the States for a furlough. And guess what? We are in Lincoln IL and I just found out you will be in Farmer City tomorrow night. I immediately bought tickets and my two older sons, Zachary (14) and Austin (13) are taking their Dad (Darrin) for an early birthday present. So know that some of your biggest fans all the way from Costa Rica will be cheering you on in Farmer City. Keep up the great work!
