Mutual Admiration for/from Missionaries

We love to receive emails from missionaries who are ApologetiX fans, because it's such an honor to have heroes like that listening to our lyrics. Our guitarists, Tom Milnes and Tom Tincha, have each made short-term mission trips, to Germany and China, respectively, and our sound man, Greg Spack, has also been to China for missions. In fact, our occasional roadie Dean Baktay, who was the guest speaker at both of our concerts last weekend, has made 25 mission trips to China over the years.
Here's a really cool email we received this week from some missionaries in Macau, one of two special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China (the other is Hong Kong):I just want to thank you and encourage you all. I enjoy your music tremendously and I love the fact that you use so much Scripture in your lyrics. Your teaching is solid and very, very creative. You have a gift from God. Keep up the great work and know that we are praying for you. When ever you are in Macau (near Hong Kong) let me know. Love to see ya.

Macau Sometimes missionaries are working undercover, so we wrote back to them to make sure it was OK to share their email. Here's their reply:Macau is a SAR Special Administrative Region of China much like Hong Kong. It had been under Portuguese control for over 400 years but in 1999 returned to China with the agreement that certain freedoms be maintained. So we are free here to worship and evangelize without fear of persecution. You can share our info if you like. Our website is http://web.mac.com/whitesinmacau
I have meant to write you many times but for varies reasons never did. But I want you to know that your music has on many times been the encouragement that I needed at just the right time. Thanks.
You must study the Word a lot and that makes your music so powerful. Keep up the great work and it was cool to hear from you I feel like I know you from your music and the interviews I have read and heard about you.
Your Brother in Christ
