This Past Weekend in NY & PA
Mon., Jul. 26. 2010 6:03pm EDT
We played two concerts this past weekend in Sodus NY and Donegal PA. On Friday, our hotel was right next the world-famous Erie Canal, but we only stayed one night -- not 15 years -- because we were playing at the alloutpraise Christian music festival the next day.
On Saturday, Keith got a new name to add to the long list. Another bass player came up to J. and said, "Your bass player -- what's his name -- Mike? He's an inspiration to me."
And, of course, that was an inspiration to us. Keith has inspired many people over the years to call him by the wrong name. And it all started at a Waffle House in Georgia in 1996. The list of accidental first names Keith has received currently stands at 33.
There was plenty of perspiration to go with the inspiration on Saturday. The concert was outdoors in the hot summer sun, and boy, was it humid.
Here are some cool comments we received after Friday's concert:My family and I just drove from Fort Erie Ontario Canada to your Sodus show. It was well worth the two-plus hour drive. We have admired your music for about five years or so but never been able to get to a concert. Why don't we ever see any advertisments for ApologetiX concerts in Canada? Come to Canada PLEASE!

We thoroughly enjoyed last night's concert! The opening band was great, you guys sounded superb, and the crowd was one of the most enthusiastic crowds we've ever been with at one of your concerts. Jimmy's "Montreux" was awesome! Both Toms are simply amazing guitarists! Keith is one of the coolest bass players around!
But as for you, J., I was a little concerned about you last night---you wore the same shirt for the entire concert! I hope you are O.K. : ) Seriously, though, you have done a wonderful job with your new songs! I look forward to hearing your new CD.

We had a great time at the concert last night! Few things in life are certain except that if you go to an ApologetiX concert, you are going to have a great time! The music and lyrics were great as they always are. It's so much fun to be able to bring my daughter and her friend to something all of us enjoy a great deal.
All of the guys are so nice. They all signed Shelby's guitar & talked with her. She was on cloud nine. Thanks for what the band does. Thanks to God for blessing you guys with so much talent. It means a lot to all of us. We look forward to seeing you again at another concert!

Brockport NY Here are some nice email excerpts from our concert coordinators:I was glad to have had the opportunity to be the promoter for the concert. Everyone that I talked to really enjoyed ApologetiX. You are doing a very important ministry and you will only know in heaven how many lives you have touched.
