This Past Weekend in IL & OK
Wed., Oct. 13. 2010 10:10pm EDT
If you were making oldies jukebox selections for our trip this past weekend to Flora IL and Tulsa OK, you could sum it up as follows:
Friday morning: "24 Hours from Tulsa" by Gene Pitney
Friday night: "500 Miles Away from Home" by Bobby Bare
Saturday morning: "Sooner or Later" by The Grass Roots
Saturday night: "Tulsa Time" by Don Williams and Eric Clapton
Sunday morning: "Homeward Bound" by Simon & Garfunkel
Sunday night: "Back Home Again" by John Denver
Here are some nice notes we received from our concert coordinators afterward:Hope you enjoyed your visit in Flora IL. We sure did have a blast, and though our time was limited to visit with each one, we will forever treasure your testimony. Tracy shared a little about it this morning during service. Thanks again and safe travels home today.

Tulsa OK Here are some email excerpts we received from fans afterward:Once again, another fabulous show! I am blessed to have seen you twice within a two-month period (Mt. Vernon, IL) and able to bring both of my sons this time (ages 10 and 8).
This was the first show for my eight-year old and that is all he has talked about today! He has listened to my CDs before, but asked to buy his own at the show last night (Flora IL) to help support the band so they will come back again! Thanks again for your ministry, and may the LORD continue to bless you and yours.

So much fun last night! This is the second show we've been to, and both times we've been floored by the musicianship. My wife, Cathy, particularly was blown away at the Milnes Blues Explosion. She loves blues and now she wants to hear Tom do a duet with Eric Clapton. :) She was also particularly touched by his mini-message. We always look forward to the new CDs, and we love it when we get to see a live show.

Great concert tonight here in Tulsa. I know a lot of people are fans of yours here. God bless you, everyone in the band, and your families.

ApologetiX allows me to reach so many who have such a narrow view of the Creator of the Universe and His Son, Jesus Christ. You guys did awesome in Tulsa. Once again, someone with our group has been exposed to the freedom of worship of the one true God, and to her "The rock(s) really cried out that Jesus is Lord." Again thank you.
