APX Keyboardist Inspires Others With New Site

The newest member of ApologetiX has already inspired many fans with his remarkable story of cancer survival and revival through Christ (Philippians 4:13). Now he has a new website where you can help him inspire others with your own stories.
Keyboardist Todd Waites first played with ApologetiX on March 5 and became an official member on April 1. He plays everything left handed, because he lost his right arm to cancer at age 14. Anybody who plays piano or keyboards knows the right hand usually does most of the work, which makes Todd's excellent musicianship even more incredible.
At every concert, Todd gets a chance to tell his story of how Christ enabled him to overcome adversity, and there are always people who come up to him afterward with stories of similar challenges they are facing or have faced. That's one of the reasons Todd and his son, Seth (a.k.a. "Chip"), launched Not4Nothing and its accompanying website.
Todd says they designed the site to be "a place that allows the stories of unsung heroes -- people who have faced physical and/or medical challenges and used them to inspire others -- to be heard. It's a resource to find and share encouragement, show triumph in the midst of tragedy, and to make sure none of it is in vain."
The website includes a video interview with Todd interspersed with live footage of him in concert with ApologetiX. But what really has Todd excited is the special section of stories of people who have inspired and encouraged others while in the midst of their own adversity.
"I need your stories," Todd says. "Please submit one to two paragraphs of your story (or the story of someone you know). Upon approval it will appear on the page and inspire others!" You can submit the stories at http://www.not4nothing.net
