This Past Weekend in PA
Wed., Oct. 5. 2011 7:11pm EDT
We played two concerts close to home last weekend -- Johnstown (Holsopple) PA and Pittsburgh (McMurray) PA. It's a good thing, too, because the bus had some serious problems after Saturday's show. Getting there may be half the fun, but getting home was half the battle. But you can read about that elsewhere. Up until then, it was a great weekend.
Saturday was Tom Tincha's 200th concert as a member of ApologetiX. It was also Jimmy's 575th and Todd's 40th. J.'s dad came to the Holsopple show, and J. crooned "You Booked Me All Along" in his honor. The Haynie, Jackson and Tanner wives and kids were at the McMurray show.
Here are some email excerpts from our concert coordinators:I do not know where to begin to express my gratitude for both your generosity and your Godly spirits. You played/worked your hearts and souls to the max! You truly are great examples of Christian men who hunger after the Lord's will. I feel honored and humbled that the Lord has allowed our paths to intersect, and I pray tremendous blessings upon each of you!
