This Past Weekend in PA & WV
Wed., Jun. 13. 2012 10:56pm EDT
We played concerts last weekend in State College PA and Weirton WV. Like this coming weekend, the Friday show was indoors and the Saturday show was outdoors. Both weekends have a little alliteration in their concert coordination. This weekend's promoters are Jim and Jack; last weekend's were Molly and Millie.
Friday's show featured a special appearance on drums by ApologetiX alum David McKee. Saturday's show featured a special appearance by all of our wives -- not on stage, mind you -- but in the audience. That Weirton concert was open to the public but was first and foremost for families with special-needs children.
But the coolest thing was getting this message from a person on the committee who sponsored Saturday's show:You really rocked us in Weirton. Five people were saved that evening, two calls were made to me the next day to pray with some folks, and a visit from a young lady that won one of your CDs who brought some of her friends so they could all learn more and then pray together! Praise the Lord!
Thanks for the miles of smiles that you put on the faces of our special folks across the age span, or as I say, from birth to eternity! Blessings on you and yours as you do the work of the Lord.
