"Don't Stop Till Egypt" Update

From ApologetiX lead singer J. Jackson:
Last week, we told you my eldest daughter Janna's high-school chorus planned to perform our parody "Don't Stop Till Egypt" for their Christmas concert. It'll be arranged with male and female leads, plus a choral section, like the version of "Don't Stop Believin'" popularized by the TV show "Glee."
Well, the results of the auditions are in, and Janna got the female lead. Although I had nothing to do with the selection, it probably didn't hurt that she's a huge ApologetiX fan and knew our lyrics very well (she doesn't know the original). And she has a lovely voice.
Since then, Janna's chorus teacher has asked me to sing the male lead on the song with her for the school's chapel service in two weeks. That's quite an honor. I won't be singing it at the concert; they have a very talented young man doing that.
Janna also just got the role of the Wicked Witch of the West in the school's upcoming spring production of "The Wizard of Oz." No, I was not asked to play the role of her assistant flying monkey.
