Last Weekend in MI
Wed., May. 29. 2013 1:33pm EDT
We had to make way while the sun shone this past Saturday as we traveled to a concert at Rock Lake Christian Assembly and Campground in Vestaburg MI. Although our RV had been to two repair shops that week, it was still having trouble with its tail lights and marker lights once it was attached to the trailer (those troubles had begun the previous weekend in Cumberland MD).
We praise God for Tracy Beyer, an APX fan who used to work on trailers and their lighting systems at an RV place and lived in the general vicinity of the concert. Tracy heard about our problems and drove to the venue, worked on our vehicle while we were playing, and provided a temporary fix to get us home safely.
Poor Tracy didn't get to see the show, which is a shame, because we had a great crowd and a good time. He and his wife were able to hear us, though, because they were right outside, and we did give them a big shout-out from the stage. Thanks again, Tracy!
Special thanks also to the people who provided cymbals for Jimmy to use after he left his behind in Pittsburgh!
Here's a nice note we received from our concert coordinator:You guys were a real blessing to us. Glad we were able to work it out. God bless you guys in your ministry and looking forward to the Lansing concert.

Rock Lake Assembly
Vestaburg MI Here are some email excerpts from fans in attendance:Just want to say you guy get better every time I see you. We will for sure see you guys again this summer. My wife, who is now a new ApologetiX fan, had such an awesome time. She loves what you guys do. We are glad we got to see Todd before his last show. He is such an awesome keyboard player and a huge inspiration for everybody. Thanks for making this a great holiday weekend.

Frank and I both had a great time at the concert. Rock Lake Christian Assembly was a great place to have a concert. There's just something about being out in the woods that gives a sense of "Life Restored."
The concert was lot of fun, packed with some unexpected surprises! We noticed you pulled out a few songs we hadn't seen you perform in awhile; and at least one of your older songs that we might not have seen you perform live before.
A couple of friends from church (who brought a few cymbals for Jimmy to use) also brought their three-year-old son, Paul, to his first rock concert. After the concert Paul told his parents, "That was awesome!" What can I say, the kid knows what he's talking about.
It was great to watch Todd play with ApologetiX one last time before he retires. He has been a great addition to the group; he will be missed.
Thank you for making us smile, want to sing along, dance in our seats, laugh at your comedy bits, and pray that you get home safely. You guys are a joy to hear and watch. God bless each and every one of you! See you in Lansing -- if not before.
