Fan Mail from a Priest in Belgium
Fri., Jan. 2. 2015 9:21am EST
We were surprised and delighted to get fan mail this week from a priest in Belgium. Here are some excerpts from the email exchange that ensured:A friend of mine send me a link to ApologetiX on YouTube. I enjoyed at once the idea to work on rock music famous records, because I do it myself to entertain youth and help them praise the Lord in everyday life, but with hugely less talent than your fantastic band.
No European tour in mind? Would you come to Belgium? Under which conditions?
Anyway I'll have my youth here in Belgium know about you through YouTube, until we'll have the honour and the pleasure to praise the Lord together with you. Young people deserve an appropriate rocking way to the Rock named Jesus Christ.
This is what I intend to do: forward the songs to RCF-Liège, our Christian radio in Liège, by the time I'll have all words translated into French. Later on I'll suggest the radio leader would offer to interview ApologetiX by Skype or some other electronical way or even a phone call.
To prepare a Belgian or even an European tour some day to come in the future, have CD's with your songs sold at Siloë library (Bishop's library) with the due return to you of course, this will make a marketing campaign to have you well known and famous by the youth in the college and at university. Please think about, let's pray together, and let me know what you think about this idea.
God be your strength and peace!
