Pastor Encouraged by ApX Song & Songbook
Fri., Jan. 13. 2017 11:57am EST
Here's a great email we received last Friday from a pastor in Illinois:Thanks again for the songbook. I just read your comments for the song, "Offer Your Prayer." This song has been very meaningful to me lately.
I am the Pastor of a small church, and I work a second job in a local restaurant. I have pastored for over 20 years, and this is the first time I have needed to be Bi-Vocational. It has challenges, but I have come to see it as an extension of my work as a pastor and not just a way to pay the bills.
The Lord has given me many opportunities to be a witness and pray for my coworkers. This song encourages me especially when I question how effective I am as a witness to them. Thanks for blessing me with your songs and this songbook!
