Amazing Things God is Doing in Iran

J. Jackson from ApologetiX here again.
A friend of ours works for a ministry called Voice of the Martyrs and frequently meets believers who live in or come from nations where it's dangerous to be a Christian. That includes Iran -- believe it or not, the Church is growing faster there than anywhere else in the world right now. Check out what she said to us in an email this morning:I kept meaning to share this story with you I heard on Tuesday. It was an Iranian couple who ended up in Turkey. They were devout Muslims and periodically the wife would have a dream with a man dressed in white, and He said "You need to learn what my name is."
Meanwhile the husband ended up becoming suicidal and got things together and was going to end his life. As he walked out of the door of his house, he heard a voice say, "Go back inside and turn on the TV." He kept walking and heard the voice again. He went inside and turned on the TV and started flipping through channels. When it got to the Christian station the remote quit working.
In that moment, the fellow leading the program called the guy by name and told him to not end his life and that he needed to follow Jesus. The wife was listening from the kitchen, and when she heard the name Jesus, she came in the living room and said, "That's the name of the man in white!"
They both accepted Christ and started sharing about Him with others and got kicked out and are currently refugees in Turkey! Man, if I were flipping through TV channels and someone called me by name, I don't know what I would do. Then, if person knew what I was about to do — craziness!
This is the TV station that they were watching. They have so many stories of Iranians that were going to end their lives and found this station and became a believer: http://iranaliveministries.org. Isn't that amazing? We had people from the Church in Iran speak in our church last month, as a matter of fact, and they had some incredible stories of God speaking to people in dreams and visions and through divinely ordained circumstances, etc.
Jesus doesn't need any nation's permission to start stirring the hearts of its people. And He can do it even in countries where the Bible is not easily accessible or is forbidden outright. Remember that for the next time somebody complains to you about God and uses the "What about people who live in countries where they've never heard of Jesus" argument.
