Former ApX Sound Man Needs Prayer

J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here again.
Last Saturday, I got a call from former ApX sound man Mark Bodin, who is facing some very serious health challenges. He is asking for prayer, and I asked him if he could have his daughter, who is a nurse, describe the situation so I could relay the info to you:I'm Jessica, Mark Bodin's daughter. My dad started noticing black floating specks in his left eye earlier this week. Friday morning, July 17, he woke up to almost no vision in his left eye.
He was very distraught/depressed that morning. Losing the vision scared him and caused him to mentally break down. He was able to make an eye appointment with Dr. Lambert, who sent him immediately to a eye specialist, Dr. Brant — one of the best in the county.
Dr. Brant said he is lucky he came in when he did. If he had waited, he would have lost his vision in both eyes within six months. Mark had an injection in his right eye as preventive measure due to enlarged blood vessels which, if not taken care of, would have caused a detached retina as well.
He will need to continue having right-eye injections monthly to prevent further damage to right eye. His left eye will most likely need surgery within two weeks; it has a detached retina with blood pooling behind the retina.
Mark can not complete any strenuous activity for a few days, and he is unable to drive. Thankfully, he was seen in time, and Dr. Brant is confident that he will not lose his vision. He needs a lot of prayer and also pray that we can find him a new place to live as well. I asked Mark for an update today, and here's what he said:They are going to try and do surgery on me next Thursday (July 30), so I had to be put on a blood pressure medication to try and get my blood pressure a little lower before the surgery next Thursday. Please join us in praying for our friend. Thank you.
