Sad Prayer Request Update: Angela Walker
Fri., Oct. 22. 2021 7:02pm EDT
For the past three weeks, we've been asking our readers to join us in prayer for ApX fan Clint Walker Jr.'s wife, Angela, who had been hospitalized with pneumonia and COVID.
We're very sorry to report that Angela died this past Tuesday night. Rather than just relay information, we're going to share what Clint had to say. He first contacted us on Wednesday morning and said the following:
I come to you with a heavy heart and broken spirit. Angela passed away last night at 9 p.m. Sorry i'm sending this so early in the morning. I have reached a temporary calm in the storm of my grief.
Right now I know without a shadow of a doubt it's only the loving touch of the Lord's hand that I am getting through this. Please tell everyone thank you so much for the prayers they have really helped,
I feel lost and adrift right now our home feels so empty, Please keep me in your prayers as i make my way through this! My kids and I spent the last three hours of her life with her, and I am comforted in the fact that she is with Jesus now, finally free of all the pain and hurt she had been going through.
I really love you guys and all of my fellow fans who have been praying for us both. God bless you!
Clint follow up with another email to us on Thursday night:
This is truly the hardest thing I have had to endure in my life. I don't know how non-believers get through this! The Bible is so right about those of us who believe we don't have to mourn like the world does.
I have been blessed to have such wonderful family and friends to help me through this! My brother-in-law, who is deaf and is the pastor of a deaf church, will be leading the service, which is a huge blessing to me. I know Ange would have loved that!
My best friend, who has been my friend since we were young kids, told me that he will be there by my side (I call him my brother from another mother!) Knowing you guys are praying for me gives me strength and comfort! God bless you all!
Please join us as we continue to pray for Clint and his family. Thank you.
