College Student and Her Dad Learn With ApologetiX

We try to vary our parodies so they can appeal to multiple generations, often within the same family. Here's another great example of that from a fan who saw us at Atlantafest:
"I saw you guys perform at AtlantaFest a couple days ago, and I just wanted to tell you that the show was awesome! It was so much fun being able to rock out to songs that don't have 'Eminem' lyrics attached to the music.
"I didn't become a Christian until about a year ago (18), but since then, I've been really interested in apologetics. The idea of defending and being able to explain your faith, and battling the idea that "Christians are just born/raised Christians. That's why they believe what they believe." And evolution. More Christians need to be able to answer their smarty college professors when they're preaching all their "facts" about evolution.
"Anyways. When my friend told me there was band out there named 'ApologetiX' … yeah. We went shopping. I love your music. The concept, the lyrics, the humor. It's all just way too cool. It's definitely helped me learn some of the bible stories I'd never been exposed to as a kid. Plus the lyrics are so outrageous that its just fun (and helpful) to blast it around friends who aren't Christians. (I've gotten some good reactions outta that.)
"But more importantly, my dad followed in my footsteps and got saved about 6 months after I did. And there I go shoving a bunch of ApologetiX music in his car, because you guys have done covers of Def Leppard , Styx, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc. (that list can keep going for a while) but stuff that he loves for the music, while learning things he'd never bothered with or cared about before.
"So thank you! For being so cool. And original. And helpful. I can't explain how much your music has helped me figure so many different things out. (Even on the bad days when smarty college professors win over puny 19-year-old girl who's known this stuff for less than a year.)
"From someone whose been trying to play catch up on her Bible-gone-missing-for-19-years,"
