Bittersweet Note from an ApologetiX Fan in Las Vegas

We received this bittersweet letter of encouragement on Tuesday from a fan in Las Vegas. He gave us permission to share with you:
It seems like a world away when I made a donation and for that I was able to download your entire library (on June 2). I was super-excited to begin listening, but unfortunately, before I could, I received news that my dad was dying and only had a couple days left to live.
All my sisters, my wife and I, and all the children were able to see him and tell him goodbye. I also prayed with him so he could receive Jesus. My whole family were grieving but comforting each other in Jesus, and lifting each other up in prayer.
Unfortunately, my dad's brother and sisters who are staunch atheists were mocking us, our prayers and our faith. Through it all, we struggled with keeping a good attitude while praying for them that God would touch their hearts. It's been a real struggle through all of this.
This morning, I was listening to the album Eclectic for the first time. When the song "I Pray Every Day About You," I actually burst out laughing. What a perfect song to listen to in the middle of spiritual warfare.
And the joy of God was refreshed by that song. And then two tracks later, "Every Crown Has Its Thorn." It just gave me tremendous comfort.
I rejoice that my wife and I and my sisters and sons and nephews and nieces are all in love with Jesus Christ.
I rejoice that my dad has joined my mother in heaven and has finally found peace and happiness.
I rejoice that even in the face of grief and persecution, God can supply all our needs.
I rejoice that God has gifted YOU with the wisdom and talent to speak through your lyrics to bring joy, laughter, wisdom, peace and comfort.
Thank you for everything. Thank the band for all the wonderful music and incredible talent they bring, and let them know my wife and I pray for you and all of your families as well.
Your brother and sister in Christ,
Daniel and Becky Schieberl
Las Vegas NV
Please join us in praying for continued comfort and encouragement for Daniel, Becky, and their kids, plus softened hearts for Daniel's uncle and aunts.
