Fri/Sat in MN, Sun in WI
Sun., Jul. 10. 2005 4:25pm EDT
So you're not much of a late-night person? This weekend, we play three late-afternoon concerts (one at 5 p.m., two at 4:30 p.m.) in Minnesota and Wisconsin, so no more excuses :)
Friday afternoon, we make our fourth annual appearance at the Sonshine festival in Willmar MN. Other performers that day include Switchfoot, Relient K, Toby Mac, Barlow Girl, Building 429, Pillar, Disciple, John Reuben and more! For more info, please got to http://www.sonshinefestival.com
Saturday afternoon, we'll stay in Minnesota but move closer to the twin cities, as we make our first appearance at the Eyota Days Festival in Eyota MN. When we first heard our booking agent say something about "Eyota festival," we thought she said "a Yoda festival," the ideal place for our drummer and resident Star Wars geek, Bill "Moose" Rieger to play. But "Yoda festival" it was not. Wrong we were.
Sunday afternoon we'll move eastward one state and make our second annual appearance at Paperfest in Kimberly WI. Unlike most festivals, Paperfest encourages us to play a longer set rather than shorter one, so if you'd like to see us do as many songs as possible, this is the show for you! We couldn't believe it when our keyboardist, Bill Hubauer, said LiFest was our first trip to Wisconsin in 2005, but he was right. We're going to make up for lost time with Paperfest this Sunday and Powerfest in August.
