Sting Brings ApologetiX Fans Together

No, we're not talking about the former lead singer for the Police. But Brent Waggoner in Sandborn IN definitely felt like the King of Pain till a surprise meeting with a fellow ApologetiX fan. Read on:
Apologetix played an interesting role in a traumatic experience on my recent family vacation.
We were traveling from Indiana to Washington DC for our family vacation. I decided to take Highway 50 through the mountains of West Virginia because I knew it would be a pretty drive. The first day out, our air conditioner went out of our van, so we had to run with the windows down.
On the second day, we were driving on Hwy 50 up in the mountains of WV. A bee/hornet flew in the window, got inside my shirt and stung me on the chest. I didn't think much about it, as I had been stung several times before and had never had any problems.
However, this time was different! I began to feel strange, so (thankfully), I was able to pull over and let my wife drive. I then lost consciousness and was out for about 20 minutes. It was very scary for me, and especially my wife and family. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital nearby in Oakland MD.
As it turned out, I recovered fine (although I now have to carry an 'Epi-Pen' with me in case of another bee sting). Anyway, you are probably wondering what in the world this could have to do with ApologetiX, right?
Well, I happened to be wearing my ApologetiX t-shirt during this whole episode. As the doctor at the hospital was visiting with us before I was discharged, he told us that he was a big ApologetiX fan and had seen you in concert several times! We had a nice discussion sharing our mutual faith and love of ApologetiX music.
Looking forward to seeing you guys in Bedford IN on Sept 5. I was at your very first Indiana concert in Evansville, and have seen most of your concerts in the state since then. Keep up the great work!
Editor's Note: We're glad you're O.K., Brent! Sorry you had to meet another ApologetiX fan in that fashion. Thanks, Doc!
