Newsboys + More Aussie News

This past Saturday we opened for the Newsboys, whose lead singer is an Australian named Peter Furler. We don't know what he thinks of us, but we do know what another Australian named Peter in the Christian music industry thinks. Here's an email we received a week or so ago from Peter J. Knowles in Wilsonton, QLD, na, Australia:
I thought I'd check out what all this stuff my son was raving about ApologetiX. So I go out some of his precious CD's. Now I'm hooked. I'm in a little trouble though. My son wants me to get my own now!!! But that's OK. Guys, thanks. What a great way to get the gospel message out.
I've spent many years in the Christian music industry but nothing prepared me for such a great blessing and a buzz like your band. God bless. Keep it together in Jesus.
As for the Newsboys, after the concert in El Paso, they were scheduled to play in Israel! Like most fans of contemporary Christian music, the guys in ApologetiX all enjoy the music of the Newsboys, although our lead singer, J. Jackson, has been listening to them the longest. We asked J. to come up with a list of his 10 favorite Newsboys songs that aren't on "Shine: The Hits," their "best of" collection. Always eager to please when it comes to music and lists, J. gave us 15.
Here are they are, although not necessarily in order of preference:
Real Good Thing (from "Going Public")
Miracle Child (from "Take Me to Your Leader')
Elle G. (from "Going Public")
Beautiful Sound (from "Love Liberty Disco")
Giving it Over (from "Thrive")
God is Not a Secret (Original Version from "Take Me to Your Leader")
Going Public (from "Going Public")
Truth Be Known - Everybody Gets a Shot (from "Step Up to the Microphone")
Tuning In (from "Step Up to the Microphone")
When You Called My Name (from "Going Public")
He Reigns (from "Adoration")
You Are My King (Amazing Love) (from "Adoration")
Everyone's Someone (from "Love Liberty Disco")
In the Belly of the Whale (from the "Jonah: A Veggie Tales Movie" Soundtrack)
Breathe (both versions from "Take Me to Your Leader")
