Casting Crowns Appreciates ApologetiX

One of the most popular Christian artists to debut in the past few years is a band called Casting Crowns. Last year, when ApologetiX won the CCM Magazine Readers Choice Award for Favorite Indie Band, Casting Crowns won it for Favorite Band.
We'd heard it through the grapevine that one of the members was an ApologetiX fan, and the other day we got this email from ApologetiX fan Mary Beth Benner:
I was at a Casting Crowns concert Saturday night, was wearing my ApologetiX shirt and when I went to get their autographs they were talking to me about my shirt saying how cool and funny you guys are!
The drummer, Andy, told me he's an ApologetiX fan too, and he thinks you guys rock.
Editor's Note: For a real tongue twister, try saying the names of these similar sounding bands in succession three times fast: Casting Crowns, Counting Crows, Cutting Crew. Each band's first name starts with a "C" and last name starts with a "Cr," with a "w" near the end.
In case you've forgotten, Cutting Crew scored top 10 hits in 1987 with "I Just Died in Your Arms Tonight" and "I've Been in Love Before." Counting Crows first hit it big in 1994 with the song "Mr. Jones" and the album "August and Everything After," and more recently with the song "Accidentally in Love" in the opening scene of "Shrek 2."
