A Minor Miracle in Minnesota

Here's a really encouraging email we received last week from a Minnesota youth pastor:
I saw you guys in (Monticello) MN this past weekend. I didn't find out about the concert until 3 p.m. that day! I have gotten a few of my students into you guys, so I started calling. When I reached the one I knew would be most excited, the one who would freak out to go...he was in no mood for happy thoughts.
I found out from his mom that he was in his low point from manic/bipolar depression, something that he has battled with
for years now. I have dealt with those who suffer from manic depression and this student happens to look up to me (such an odd thing when I look at were I came from). I asked to speak to him and he had no intention in speaking to any one or doing anything except sleeping. I went to their home and went into his room and sat on the floor.
I tried to get him to say something...it was 5 minutes of me asking questions (most of them silly) and occasional poking before I said, "I'd like to take you to the ApologetiX concert to night." He said "really?" He turned to me and we talked about this stupid thing depression and how he wish he didn't feel this way, we prayed, went out to eat and rocked out with you guys in Monticello.
"ApologetiX" was the one word that got him to snap out of it, God uses us in roundabout way sometimes but you helped a 9th grade student have a lot better night then what his brain was telling him earlier that day. Thank you for your ministry.
