Weakened in New England: He Almost Fell Off His Chair
Mon., Aug. 21. 2006 2:15am EDT
Here's a humorous and encouraging email we just received from a fan in New Hampshire:
Hey guys. I just love what you are doing. I work with two heathen metal heads, Duke and Bill. They are great guys, and I love 'em both. They play music off the web all day here at work. And I hear a lot of the tunes that you do. I always think to myself, "Man, that sounds weak (compared to your versions).
I have played your stuff for them ... as much as they will let me. But the other day the Ozzy Osbourne song was playing. And I heard Duke sing "you've got to listen to God's word" instead of whatever the original version says. I almost fell off my chair. He remembered from the one time I got to play it. I was just so encouraged.
Please keep it up. The only problem I have is I love to blast your music at real high volume. And my wife doesn't appreciate it as much. I tell her it's "made loud to be played loud." I wish you guys did more gigs up here in New England other than SoulFest. The crowds can be tough to deal with.
We go to Calvary Chapel, Chelmsford MA, but have good connections at all the Calvarys here in New England. If you ever need a reference or need any info, I would love to and be blessed to help. Also if you come to SoulFest next year and want to take a little break, I have seven kayaks I use for ministry if you could take a day to paddle on some of the amazing lakes we have up here. We could also put you up at are place in southern NH.
My wife and I also use your stuff for the puppet ministy we have. You have blessed me so much with your music. Have fun. Be blessed.

Thanks, John! We love New Hampshire and New England. We're always open to coming back, kayak or no kayak! Pray us back up there and if you or any other New Englanders would like to see us back sooner than SoulFest and you want ApologetiX to consider your church for our 2006 tour, please tell us all about your church or event at:
