This Past Weekend in WI & IN
Mon., Nov. 27. 2006 2:11am EST
We had a brand-new trailer in tow as we headed to this past weekend's concerts in Green Bay WI (two shows) and Greencastle IN.
Our new trailer is not only bigger than our old trailer; it's bigger than our 15-passenger van! And it's solid black, whereas the old one was white. One of our old friends driving on the same road this past weekend said she almost didn't recognize us because of "that Darth Vader trailer." That's why we've decided to call it "Darth Trailer."
The crowd at the Cup O' Joy didn't disappoint us. Once again, both Saturday shows were standing room only. Not surprisingly, Green Bay really knows how to pack 'em in. Sunday's show near Indy was also well attended. We debuted three new songs from the new "Wordplay" CD (we'd already been playing three others for several months now) at the shows.
Special thanks to:
Our concert coordinators: Jan Oettinger (Green Bay) and Steve Buhr (Greencastle).
Our merchandise coordinators: Audra (Green Bay and Greencastle); Robin and Caity (Green Bay); and Aaron and Keith (Greencastle).
Our roadie: Micah (Green Bay and Greencastle)
Honorable mention to:
Tim, a soldier stationed in Iraq who discovered ApologetiX a few months ago and actually planned his two weeks of annual leave so he could see us in concert near his hometown. Please pray for Tim as he returns to Iraq soon.
