Your Chances of Winning Karl's Guitar Have Increased
Mon., Jan. 1. 2007 4:09pm EST
Order anything in our online store by this Wednesday night and you could win the first real electric guitar ever owned by ApologetiX lead guitarist Karl Messner. And there are two factors that increase your chances of winning dramatically.
"One order chosen at random will win the red Yamaha RGX I've had since 1986," says Karl. "I've played it in concert since '93 and have used it on most of our CDs, including 'Sweet Oholibama' from Adam Up and most recently the super-long-who-unpluged-the-tape-recorder dive at 1:50 in 'Somebody Sold Me' from Wordplay."
We're currently having problems getting the newsletter to our Hotmail and MSN subscribers, so many fan club members aren't getting our newsletter right now. This greatly increases your chances of winning that guitar. Furthermore, we're offering this after the Christmas shopping rush, when there aren't a lot of orders.
"I love this guitar," says Karl. "It was given to me as my first real electric guitar by a guitar mentor who thought I could learn more if I had a 'sweet guitar.' He spent his whole paycheck at Pittsburgh's musical Mecca, 'Pianos n Stuff' and surprised me with it. Since then several fans (Mike S., Dave B., Bruce B., John T. and Gerry D.) have given me great guitars to record with, so I wanted to give one back to the fans."
Order more often, and increase your chances. We pick the winner Wed., January 3, at 11:59 p.m.
