Former APX Drummer Preaches in NC
Sun., Apr. 1. 2007 2:52pm EDT
Q. Whatever happened to former ApologetiX drummer Bob Flaherty?
A. He left us for greener pastures ... er ... pastors.
Well, it's hard to find a pastor greener than one who's still training and has only preached two sermons thus far. That's Bob's current status. He got to preach his first sermon in December and his second a few weeks ago.
"I was filling in for my pastor at a Christian Missionary Alliance (CMA) church in Charlotte NC," Bob explains. "I am currently training for the pastorate within the CMA and working towards licensing right now. Yes, I still plan on pastoring a church in the future."
Bob was the third official ApologetiX drummer, from May 1995 through September 1998, and you can hear his handiwork on our "Ticked" ("Rolling Clone") CD. He also served as our soundman/roadie/driver from the spring of 2003 through the fall of 2004, when he moved out of state. He now resides in Charlotte.

"I'm open to all forms of criticism, constructive and otherwise," Bob adds. You can email him at
