2 Weeks Off ... But Not from the Bus
Mon., Jun. 11. 2007 10:33pm EDT
This is the second week of our two-week vacation from concerts ... but not from building the bus. We'll play our next shows June 22-24 in North Carolina, but we need to have the bus finished by June 29 for the start of our 10-day summer tour. Wanna help?
Highlights of the past two weeks include electrical wiring, building bunks and booths, working on walls, and installing the refrigerator and oven. Don't miss our summer blockbuster online movie "How to Push a Fridge Through a Window," which you can view along with Karl's online journal, photos, and updates at:

The word "busy" starts with "bus," so we can't finish being busy until we finish the bus. There's still plenty of work to be done. If you'd like to help out with some elbow grease, let karl at apologetix dot com know! Just put "I'm ready to help Build the Bus" in the subject line when you email. And if you already know how to get to Karl's farm, just show up in dirty clothes and we'll put you to work.
You've heard the expression, "the buck stops here"? Well, when the bucks stop, the bus stops. If you'd like to contribute to our ongoing effort, there's still time:
I Want To Give to Help Build the Bus! Folks who help out with $100 or more get a cool "I Helped Build the Bus" Tee and if you can help out with even $1, you'll get your name on a plaque in the bus of folks who helped.
Thanks for building the bus with us!
