Creation 2001 Volunteers
Sat., Mar. 3. 2001 2:07am EST

Your pal, J. Jackson from ApologetiX (That Christian Parody Band) here.

Are you planning to go to Creation 2001 in Mt. Union, PA this summer or would you like to go?

It's the nation's largest Christian music festival, and we played main stage there last year. This year's list of artists is very impressive, and you can check it out at their website

http://www.gospelcom.net/creation/new/east/.

The artist list includes: Audio Adrenaline, DC Talk, Newsboys, Third Day, Jennifer Knapp, Kirk Franklin, SonicFlood, Jaci Velasquez, Daniel Amos, The 77's, Randy Stonehill, Supertones, FFH, Plus One, Smalltown Poets and much more.

The festival runs from June 27-30, 2001. Although we are not slated to play at Creation 2001, we are planning to have a booth and a table in the artists' area up on the hill like we did in 2000.

There is a very good chance that we will need volunteers to set up and staff our table this year. We were just talking about that last week. We need people who are absolutely trustworthy and are willing to put in the time for us. In exchange we are willing to take care of their admission to Creation ... but we need them to be willing to watch our table, especially from Wednesday through Friday mid-afternoon.

After that, the band members will arrive and will help out with manning the tables, but we'd still need some help for the times when we wanted to catch a show or two (Our wives really didn't get to see much of the concerts at last year's festivals, and so we promised them, we'd let them actually watch a few shows this year!) I'm thinking of asking a few of our close friends/fans to help us with that. If you're interested in that, we can talk about that some more. Let me know, OK? I don't know how many people we'll need or how many we'll be able to afford, but I'd like to know who's interested.

Thanks!

J.
