This Past Weekend in MA & PA
Mon., Jul. 21. 2008 9:38am EDT
We had another radio-active weekend this past Saturday and Sunday, playing concerts sponsored by our friends at WCYM in Webster MA and WCTL in Erie PA.
We even had a guest guitarist join us for all of Sunday's show, Mark Campayno, the director of the Paul Green School of Rock in Ashburn VA. Mark shared guitar duties with both Bill and Keith throughout the show. Original ApologetiX bass player Jerry Hayostek was also on hand for both concerts and played bass for the songs on which Keith played lead guitar.
Here's a note from a fan who came to Friday's show:
Great show yesterday in Webster! That was seven times I've seen you guys, and you get better every time!! I'll be in Barrington to see you in November too.Special thanks to:
Our concert coordinators: Stephen Binley and Judy Pelletier (Webster) and Ron Raymond and Kathy Zurawski-King (McKean)
Our merchandise coordinators: Rhonda, Lisa, and Marion (Webster); and Sharon, Sara, Cherish, and Mackenzie (McKean).
Our bus driver: Super Dave Johnson from Manton MI
Our roadies: Brandon, Jerry, Rich, and Super Drew (Webster and McKean) and Dan (McKean)
Honorable mention to: Rich Polick, who attended his 116th and 117th concerts, tying him for second-most concerts ever attended by an ApologetiX fan. Rich would have had second place all to himself, but Larry Davis came to Sunday's concert to keep things neck and neck.
Brandon Gross also came to both concerts -- his 61st and 62nd -- good enough for seventh on the all-time list.
