Prayer Update: Tracee's Mom
Tue., Oct. 14. 2008 9:16am EDT
Last week we asked you to pray for the mother of our good friend, Tracee Knapp in Mount Ayr IA. Here's an update from Tracee:
Thanks for all your prayers. The Lord blessed us yesterday during the surgery. Two stents were put in one artery and one stent in the other artery. Her surgery went well. She did have a few situations last night. Her blood pressure dropped and they had to put her back on the ventilator.
The cardiologist told us that she had fluid on her lungs and medicine can take care of that. Our prayer concerns today will be: take the balloon out so her heart can function on its own (with the stents) Thankfully the heart, itself, is strong. The problems existed in the arteries.
We want that procedure to go well and mom's body stays strong. In addition, her blood pressure is now regulated and her oxygen levels so hopefully she can come off the ventilator. Keep her positive and encouraged. We are grateful the Lord allowed for the stents to work, now the rest of her body needs to keep up. Keep her lifted up and hopefully she can return to southern Iowa.
God Bless - Tracee Knapp
