This Past Weekend in NY & NH
Sun., May. 17. 2009 10:14am EDT

ApologetiX headed north by northeast this past weekend with concerts in Geneva NY and Spofford NH. As usual when we play New York and New England, we got a great turnout, with fans from all over the area.

Here are some email comments we received from fans afterward:

It was great seeing the guys and you again last night in Geneva NY. The band sounded awesome! The two new Toms really add a lot to the band. They fit right in. They are down to earth, love the Lord, and have exceptional guitar skills. The night was incredible. I knew it would be.

My daughter Shelby always finds it funny to see her dad rocking to the music. She tries to act "cool" but in the end she is jamming with her dad. That's why going to your concerts are so much fun. I get to jam with my daughter and hear about Christ. It doesn't get any better than that. You guys really touch people with your music and lyrics. There is a lot of fun but also a great message at every concert.

It was nice to get to meet you Friday night in Geneva! It meant alot to us that you all took the time to meet your fans. One of our boys said to make sure you knew he appreciated all of the 80's music. We sure enjoyed the concert! We hope to see ApologetiX again soon!

My wife and I brought our two-year-old daughter and a friend of ours to the Spofford NH concert last night. What a great time and a blessing! We are pleased that our daughter had such a great time. She wouldn't sit still and even kept running in circles around our group of chairs while I chased her down. I also appreciated Tom's (Thing One's) testimony of that voice telling him to wait until he was old.

I really appreciated all that you do for the Lord. It was a rockin' good time and I look forward to the next time. I hadn't had so much fun at a concert since about '99 when I got to help set and tear down for Petra. Keep on doing what you're doing.

Great seeing you guys again! Thanks for a great show! I know a cliche often used is "they just get better, but you do! Man, Keith comes up with the coolest shirts! Being a former comic book collector I appreciate his fashion statements!

Albany NY

I was at the concert at Camp Spofford the other night. My wife and oldest daughter (9) came with me. We really enjoyed the show. I just want to tell you how much I appreciate the work you do for the Lord. What I appreciate most of all is the incessant usage of not only the words of Scripture, but references as well.

You continually bring my mind back to the Word, and tell me where to find the things you are singing about. It is not easy to find music with so much 'meat' in the Christian music scene nowadays. Of course, the fact that you are all so talented helps to surround the message in a fantastic package. I was amazed that you can really perform all those songs live.
