ApologetiX - West Reading PA, Wisconsin and More
Tue., Mar. 14. 2000 2:31am EST
Dear ApologetiX friends:
J. Jackson, lead singer for ApologetiX (That Christian Parody Band) here.
Thanks to all of you who attended our three concerts in Central Pennsylvania this past weekend.
We hope to see some of you in West Reading, Pa., at our concert this coming Saturday night! (See below for details.)
Thanks to all of you who've been going out to check out our new-look website at www.apologetix.com. Also, thanks to all of you who've bought our brand new "ApologetiX 2000" video. For those of you who don't know, the website has free clips from the new video that you can view for yourself. Be sure to check them out!
We did an unplugged three-hour concert on WZZD, the huge 50,000 watt Christian station in Philadelphia, Pa. on Monday. It was very well received. We played for three hours during drive time, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., (Karl and I doing the Apol-acoustic, Unplug-agetiX route), and did many, many songs plus a few medleys of released and unreleased songs. The DJ, Timmy DeMoss was a wonderful host, and he's supposed to hook me up with tapes of the whole three-hour show some time soon.
Timmy D. took requests on the air, and it amazed me how many folks in Philadelphia (That's right on the border of New Jersey, whereas Pittsburgh is almost on the border of Ohio, so they're seven or eight hours apart), knew our songs by name and were requesting them by name on the air. A bunch of other callers called to say how much they were enjoying things. All in all, a smashing success! We're hoping to meet a lot of those folks at our concert in West Reading this weekend, and we hope to see a lot of you old friends there, too! People like Fern B. and Lois S. and all the rest of you! You know who you are! Come out and see us this Saturday night!
I have details on that concert and all of our upcoming concerts and radio interviews in March listed below. We'll be doing a few radio interviews in Rockford, IL and Green Bay, WI to promote our shows in Wisconsin at the end of the month. Please tune in if you're from that area!

This is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
