Another Source for Christian Parodies

Last fall, we told you about some good friends of ours who also do Christian parodies. In case you missed that story, we're sharing that info again:
Just because ApologetiX is known as "That Christian Parody Band" doesn't mean we're the only Christians out there making parodies. Many others have tried their hand at it, including our old friends Jay Crook and Arron Daniels, who recently released a project under the name "Petrafried."
We first met Arron when he coordinated ApologetiX concerts for KBNJ in Corpus Christi TX. Although he's since become station manager at The Spark FM in Sierra Vista AZ, Arron produced, played most of the instruments, and sang a number of the songs on Petrafried's debut CD, Parodies Lost.
Jay, who still lives in Corpus Christi, has helped ApologetiX out in the past by designing some of our t-shirts and pre-release album covers. Although he doesn't perform on the CD, he wrote the lyrics for all 16 tracks, an eclectic mix of everything from Norah Jones to Nine Inch Nails, Sonny & Cher to Santana, and Johnny Cash to Jimmy Buffet.
The album is well performed, well written, and well produced; we're proud of our friends in Petrafried. For more info and to hear some of the songs for yourself, go to: http://www.petrafried.com.
