This Past Weekend in AZ & NM
Mon., Mar. 1. 2010 9:59am EST
Even though we spent last weekend in the desert, we felt like we were on the fast track. and that was no mirage. Friday's concert was in the second-fastest growing metropolitan area in the United States (Phoenix AZ), and Saturday's was in the sixth (Albuquerque NM).
We liked the desert so much that we're planning to return at the end of March (Salt Lake City UT) and the middle of April (Las Vegas NV). Furthermore, plans are already in the works for a much bigger return-trip Albuquerque later this year.
Here are some email comments we received from our concert coordinators:It was a pleasure having APX at the church. Have a good time/show in Albuquerque, and stay warm when you get back to PA.

What a joy it was to meet and hang with you. What a great concert. You can't believe the impression you made here. People can't stop talking about the concert. We are trying to discuss details soon (of a return trip in August). I really hope we can put it together.
Pastor Dennis Rushing
Sandia Valley Church of the Nazarene
Albuquerque NM Here's some nice fan email we received afterward:I hope your gig in Albuquerque went as well as the one did in Glendale. We talked with all the band members there and you folks were friendly and cordial as always.
The concert was a nice end to a tough week for our family, as we buried my father on Wednesday. He attended your first concert at the Church at Arrowhead on Father's Day a few years ago and really enjoyed it. He had Parkinson's for 19 years, and his health had been failing the last few years. He was a believer, and was anxious to be with God, but even though we celebrate his homecoming, it is still hard to say goodbye. Your show was a nice upbeat ending to a tough week.
I got the last two Apologetix CDs at the show and I thoroughly enjoyed them, thinking they are the best you've done in a while. Please keep up the great work.
I was also talking with my daughter earlier in the day as we were getting ready to attend, and I told her I was thankful she was a big fan of the band that I didn't have to worry about what words she was singing along to. Thank you for making that available. I don't think she's the type to ever sample death metal or gangsta rap, but it's nice to know you are helping to reinforce her faith instead of undermining it.
See you in a year or so when you are back in AZ.

It was wonderful seeing you again on Friday! I've been praising Jesus all day today for allowing me to see you again. Your ministry has changed my life. It is an honor for me to know you, and to have your parodies to make me smile and laugh. Your enthusiasm onstage is amazing.
Your concerts are by far my top favorite ever! Now, I have nearly lost track of how many times I have seen you.
