10.Upcoming Concerts

Well, we're back from the Wild West, just in time for a trip to the Eastern side of our home state tomorrow! Actually, this week, we'll be making return trips to two places we played last year, the Elizabethtown Fair, in Elizabethtown PA and Anderson Hills United Methodist Church in Cincinnati OH. All that, plus our first concert in Springfield IL!

The fact that Cincy and E-town asked us back should tell you something about how well things went last year :) The church in Cincinnati even added us to their Sunday morning service this time around. That's an honor!

Thanks to all the new and old friends who showed up to see last weekend. Some of you traveled quite a distance, for example:

Last Friday in Salt Lake City, UT (including Mike, Rocky and Josh, who made a five-hour journey from Idaho and even brought us some French fries as ambassadors of their home state)

Last Saturday in Cheyenne, WY (including a good percentage of the state's population, a bunch of folks from Denver CO, and a guy from Utah who apparently didn't get the memo that we were playing in Salt Lake City the night before :)

Last Sunday in Fremont, NE (including our buddies, the Loopholers from Kansas City MO and a long-time biker fan named Scott who rode out from California)

Hope to see plenty more of you in Elizabethtown PA (including every single living person Jenn Kipp has ever come into contact with in her life), Springfield IL (including the Bontreger family, making the trek from Indiana) and Cincinnati (including the entire Cincinnati Reds roster ... oh, come on! Are you telling me they have something better to do? Have you seen their record lately? :)

FYI, members of ApologetiX are in the studio even as I type this, working on our next CD. We'll be announcing the title soon and starting to give you more info, including the release date, plus clues as to what's on it. Hold tight and watch for our upcoming email newsletters!

9. THREE COOL RECENT EMAILS

We get so many great emails from so many of you that I wish we could print them all. But we DO read them all, and we try to respond personally to all of them! Thank you all for your moral support! Here's a few samples with neat twists:

I was registering for college the other day at The American University for Biblical Studies here in Georgia, and the president of the school had me listen to your stuff. I was blown away! What an awesome ministry God has gifted you for! All of the songs that I grew up listening to, but now they glorify God! I just ordered my first CD ("Keep The Change"), and I can't wait to order the next one. Thank you for your obedience to the LORD. May we all continue to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

P.S. Yes, if you still want to take advantage of our autographed/cracked CD sale offered in previous weeks, we'll still honor your request. I'm just tired of clogging up the newsletter with that same information over and over again! Last week's most-distant order came from South Korea!
