Thanks to all of you who came out to see us last week in Elizabethtown, PA, Springfield, IL, and Cincinnati, OH. You guys were great, as always.

This week, we're following our usual seemingly haphazard travel pattern and going from Texas to Maine to New Jersey to Pennsylvania. It kind of looks like we get better and better at planning as the weekend wore on, doesn't it? Well, we're looking forward to all of them.

On Friday, we return to Texas (Elgin is near Austin), where we are always treated well. Last time we were in Texas ( a little over a month ago), our van was in the repair shop in Kansas. Saturday will be our first concert ever in Maine. Sunday will be our third consecutive appearance at the Rejoice festival at Six Flags in Jackson, NJ. The first year, we got to meet Audio Adrenaline. Last year, it was members of Plus One, as the event nearly got rained out. This year, we've finally made it to the main stage, and I hear that we play right before Reliant K. On Monday, Labor Day, we'll be in Lancaster, PA, not too far from Elizabethtown, where we played last Wednesday. Believe it or not, Lancaster, PA, is one of the biggest places in the United States for contemporary Christian music and the general area where the huge Creation music festival is held every year.

Later in September, we'll be in Tennessee, Ohio (twice), Florida (twice), Illinois (twice), and even in our hometown of Pittsburgh for a concert that also features Smalltown Poets, Skillet and Bleach. Starting September 21, we'll take about a month off from touring as my wife, Lisa, and I await the birth of our third child (We have two daughters already, Janna and Heather, and all the sonograms indicate that our third child will probably be another girll). In the meantime, the band is currently in the studio working on our upcoming CD, and part of our "vacation" will be spent continuing that work. Look for more important announcements in regard to that CD (such as the title, the songs featured on it, and the release date) in upcoming newsletters really soon!

Please keep us in your prayers this week! God bless you!

7. COLORADO SENATOR LIKES APOLOGETIX

Here's a cool email we received recently from the wife of Colorado Senator Steve Johnson:

"I just wanted to let you know that I was at the concert in Cheyenne, WY. My husband, Steve Johnson, the Colorado Senator asked me to go with him. We brought three teenage boys with us also. Steve listens to your music all the time - really. I don't really listen to your music, but I wanted to tell you how impressed I was with your talents and the way you worked with the kids in the crowd. I thought all of you were just awesome. All of you are extremely talented with your music and gift with working with people. That has made me a fan. WOW! I would love to see your band come to Ft. Collins sometime. Both of us work with the youth at our church, and I think the kids in our area would really respond to your band. Anyway, God bless and keep up the great work!"

Lynette Johnson Ft. Collins CO

8. HARVEST IN SPRINGFIELD IL

Here's a fantastic email we got after our concert last Friday in Springfield IL:

"I wanted to say that the show was fantastic ... But I really wanted to tell you some awesome news! We drove home that night and the next morning picked up our children from my Mom and Dad's house and went to the mall to get something to eat and do a little shopping. While we were eating we told the kids about the concert and while I was telling them about your witnessing to the crowd I explained how you said it wasn't enough just to think Jesus was cool. We have to actually come to Him in prayer and ask Him to forgive us and be our Savior and our Lord.

"As I told them how you led a sinner's prayer, our daughter who is 4 said, "Daddy, I love Jesus, but I have never prayed and asked Him to save me. Will you help me like that Apologetix man did?" So, right there in the mall food court I picked her up and sat her on the table in front of me and helped her ask Jesus to forgive and save her! Tammy and I both were thrilled beyond explanation!!

"I also want to encourage you that when you witness to people at the shows, don't worry if you don't see a lot of immediate decisions, sometimes God uses a ripple effect!!! Thanks again for a great show, a great ministry, and a great witness!!"

Andrew and Tammy Borden

9. IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER

It never ceases to amaze us how many people have been affected in incredible ways after hearing "The Real Sin Savior," our parody of Eminem's "The Real Slim Shady." Here's yet another awesome testimony:

"I just wanted to thank ApologetiX for saving me!! I was listening to my sister's CD when I heard the song (ėThe Real Sin Savior.') It really made me think, and now I have been reborn. I would also like to know where I can find the lyrics to "Biblical Graffiti." Thanks for showing me the light,

Hillary Cote

Editor's Note: Rest assured, both Hillary and ApologetiX know it was Christ who saved her; He just chose to allow it to happen after Hillary heard one of our songs. But is sure is awesome, isn't it?

10. NEW APOLOGETIX FAN IN NAMIBIA, AFRICA

"The Real Sin Savior" strikes again. Read on ...

"I'm Martin Bredell, 19 from Namibia. I just wanted to know if I maybe could get the lyrics of the song "Real Sin Saviour". I really think it's a cool song, and I want to sing along, but the lyrics weren't included in the CD I purchased. Namibia is in southern Africa, and a neighbouring country to South Africa. I bought the CD in a Christian bookshop in South Africa. There were a bunch of CD's on Christmas special, so I saw your CD, listened to it and found it cool, so I bought it."

Martin Bredell Namibia, Africa
