Plans Progressing for Our Next CD

Although we hadn't mentioned anything about our next CD until now, we actually started discussing it before the last one came out.
Believe it or not, our hard-rockin' guitarists, Tom Tincha and Tom Milnes, suggested that we record a live acoustic CD -- not just with guitars like our Apol-acoustiX CD from 2005, but with all six members of the band playing and singing in a similar fashion to the old MTV "unplugged" projects.
Even though he was still in the midst of mixing down and producing our 17th CD at the time, our keyboardist/guitarist Bill Hubauer, was all over the idea, his lips smacking at the idea of playing a grand piano on a live ApologetiX recording. Our sound guys, Greg Spack and Mark Bodin, also liked the idea, as the eight of us discussed it together at the annual Christmas party.
Since then, we've selected the songs and J.'s been working on the lyrics while the rest of the band has been working on the musical arrangements. Although it's not yet posted on our website, we're planning to record the concert live at New Community Church in Wexford PA (Pittsburgh) on the evening of Friday, July 9.
Although our bassist, Keith Haynie, likes his music loud, he's probably just happy that there will be bass on this project. When Apol-acoustiX came out, he and our previous drummer, Bill Rieger, referred to it as "Bill & Keith Unplugged." In fact, they still do. :)
