Please Pray for Patricia

Please pray for our old friend DelRay Sugden's 24-year-old girlfriend, Patricia Stuva, who is facing serious medical problems. We asked DelRay to describe the situation in his own words:Patricia has a rough case of the autoimmune disease systemic lupus, which has in the past attacked her brains, kidneys, skin, and digestive system. Currently it is relapsing and slowly irreversibly damaging her kidneys, which can currently only be slowed through chemotherapy. There is another medicine which has helped once in the past but has the risk of a fatal brain disease.
She prays for wisdom from God in whether to take the medicine, which would hopefully slow or halt the damage to the kidneys for a while, or to hold off on it due to the very serious risks involved and hope that a new medicine coming out next year may help. She also asks for His care and protection, and that through this He can be glorified somehow. Patricia adds the following:Please pray for my family and the choices that we need to make. That we can use wisdom in all things, that we can be led to the right choice and that through all this it could be used for His glory. Also, please pray for me. Ultimately the choice is mine, and I need wisdom to make the right choice.
Of course, please also pray for my rash and my kidneys, that they will stay under control and/or get better. I am starting to suffer a lot of depression lately and it's just hard to be the age I am and have to go through all this.
