This Past Weekend in IN & KS
Mon., Jul. 19. 2010 12:50pm EDT
Reminiscent of Acts 28:2, "the natives showed us extraordinary kindness" at our concerts this past weekend in Washington IN and Olathe KS. They kept us well fed and helped us unload, set up, take down, and pack up quickly, and they took care of the specific needs of the day, too.
On Friday afternoon, we blew out another trailer tire (and another fender again -- different side this time) on Rt. 70, about 80 miles before Indianapolis. Thankfully, we had a spare, and our pit crew (mainly Keith) fixed it quickly. And our hosts in Washington graciously provided a brand-new spare tire!
The next day the inside door handle on our bus fell off when we arrived in Olathe, and we couldn't get out! When we finally escaped, one of our helpers in Olathe volunteered to fix it. As God would have it, he just happened to be a person who works on busses for a living. God is good!
Here are some nice email comments we received afterward from our promoters :Thanks you and all of the guys! We really enjoyed having you here, and can't wait to see you again soon.

Well, you guys were well worth the wait! My son and I got to see you in Olathe, KS Saturday night. We enjoyed the concert immensely! He's standing over my shoulder and wants me to remind you that we got to meet you and you signed his CD "Ben Rocks" and Romans 10:9 (which he says to tell you is a great verse.) :) It was absolutely amazing to hear you guys live. We're praying for God's providence for the band and that you come back this way soon!
