This Past Weekend in Waco & San Antonio TX
Wed., Dec. 15. 2010 10:09pm EST

We just spent our second consecutive weekend in Texas, with concerts in Waco (Robinson) and San Antonio. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to say an extra day. Well, actually, we didn't have much choice. Our flight home via Chicago was cancelled by the big winter storm, as we discovered when we checked in at 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

We spent much of the day getting put on standby for various flights and different possible routes, none of which worked. At least they had the Steelers game on the monitor while we were waiting. Jimmy finally made it home Sunday night (there was one standby seat available on one flight), but the other four of us wound up staying an extra night. After stops in Nashville and Baltimore, we finally made it home Monday evening.

Here are some email excerpts from our concert coordinators:

Thank you for coming out! Had a great time and look forward to doing it again in the future.

Jeremy Youngs
Victorious Life Church
Robinson (Waco) TX

This was my third time to see you in concert. I'm always impressed with the band's musical quality -- very professional! Also, the kindness that you all show to your fans, particularly in how you engage them after your shows, is second to none.

Your presentation of the gospel is having an impact in some lives that were there last night. Of the other people I know of that were there last night who do not know the Lord, I've gotten some really good feedback from the people who invited them.

Our current plans are to ask you back next year. We will definitely be in touch!

Russell Cruzan

Here are some email excerpts from a fans in attendance:
Last night in Waco was a great show and well worth the two-hour drive from Dallas. We would love to have you up here real soon.

Bro Travis Marshall III
Garland TX

Thanks again for bringing ApologetiX through Waco! My son and I really enjoyed the show. I think the best part for me was how my son responded to your music. He's been going through my Apologetix collection, and I can't keep him away from your music now. ;)

Andrew Mattei
Lorena TX

Our group of 20 from Gatesville enjoyed your concert in Robinson very much. I learned a valuable lesson. I am to old to head bang because my neck and shoulders hurt for days afterward. We praise God for your ministry. You touch the hearts of young and old alike and the message in your music is God's.

Kathy Brady
Gatesville TX

Just a note to tell you how much I enjoyed the concert and I enjoyed meeting the band. Tom gave a great testimony and I'm sure touched a lot of people. Great job! Hope you're back this way again soon!

Virginia Stark-Vance
Fort Worth TX

I attended your performance in San Antonio and enjoyed it. Personally, I'm not a rock fan but your changing rock lyrics to praise the Lord is great.
