Pity our poor new keyboardist, Todd Waites; he's really getting to live up to his name.
On April 3, we welcomed Todd as our newest member, but he has to wait more than a month until he gets to play with us again, because we've had two flying weekends (and plane tickets were already purchased before he joined), one weekend of postponed concerts because of bus repairs, and another weekend off for Easter.
Speaking of names, ApologetiX bassist Keith Haynie, had it happen to him again. Proving he's the Rodney Dangerfield of ApologetiX, many people get Keith's first name wrong, although he's rarely called by the same wrong name twice. It all started back in 1996 at a Waffle House in Georgia ("A Haynie Night in Georgia"?), when a waitress mistakenly called him "Stan."
Since then, Keith has gone acquired over 30 new first names. Last Saturday, longtime family friend Zak introduced Keith's wife, Krista, and Keith to somebody as "My friends Krista and Greg," For a full list of Keith's names, check out our FAQ section on the website.
