This Past Weekend in MI & OH
Tue., Jul. 19. 2011 11:00am EDT

As Pittsburgh Steelers fans, we felt quite comfortable playing so close to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton OH this past Saturday. But we didn't think it would be fair to Midland (our Friday venue in Michigan), if we gave them anything less than our best, either. We didn't want to give them an Inaccurate Perception, especially after they gave us such a Spectaculate Reception.

Here are some comments from our MIdland concert coordinators:

Thank you all for a wonderful concert! The performance was spectacular. We received many positive comments from those attending, volunteers and family.

Also wanted to add that the new CDs by format really rock! God bless you all..

Jeanne Marcello and the entire group from Hemlock United Methodist Church
Midland MI

I have always been spiritually moved by your concerts. Jeanne, I , our visiting family and other friends talked about the concert a lot that weekend. I like your comments on God "showing Himself" to you through scripture.

On Friday night an older gentlemen talked (complained and yelled) to Jeanne and I about how loud the music was during the time before the concert. We begged him to stay......oh yeah...older gentlemen means older than me (50). He sat up in the back. I kept glancing back to see if he was still there during the concert but couldn't see him.

After the concert Jeanne told us the gentlemen walked up to her and said "those guys deserve a full house" and said he was very glad he stayed, apologized, and was very impressed. He also made a donation!

God was in the house thanks to all of you and "showed Himself". We know you reached one person and to me one at a time is good fishing. You guys rock.

Here are some email excerpts from fans in attendance:
Thank you for the wonderful concert you put on in Midland. I was so happy you had all you new CDs there. I wish i would have brought more money ... I am happy I had enough for 11 of them.

I wish my sons would have come with me. At their ages (15 and 17), it is good to let them see their mom praising the Lord in may different ways. Thank you again for the great music with the message that hit home every time.

Saginaw MI

I was at the concert in Midland this past Friday. What a blessing. You never disappoint. I had a number of people from the church there and they all loved it. Your message was right on. I am already looking forward to seeing you again. When you come near the area I plan on being there.

I brought one man, Bob, who was having the time of his life. He bought me one of the tie dye shirts on the condition that I wear it on Sunday. That is the first time I have ever preached in a tie dye shirt. I loved it. I plan on doing it again in the future. God bless and keep up proclaiming God's Word.

Thanks for another wonderful show. The current cast of ApologetiX characters continues to coalesce. I think we're finally getting to know how fun this incarnation if ApologetiX really is. Special mention goes to Todd Waites and Tom Milnes for their powerful testimonies.

Extra special honors go to Greg Spack one of the best sound engineers that it has been my pleasure to meet. On top of that, we got to find out just what a great musician he really is. If the songs we heard Saturday night are any indication, I'm really looking forward to the next ApologetiX album.
