This Past Weekend in PA
Wed., Aug. 1. 2012 3:18pm EDT
We only played one concert last weekend -- in Butler PA -- but God made it count.
Our sound engineer, Greg Spack, reported the following incident the day afterward:Michele and I went to the Lyndora Hotel tonight for dinner and when I was walking in the door I noticed a guy staring at me. So I acknowledged him and said, "Hi there." He said "You were playing guitar last night with the band at St. Fidelis." I said, "Yes, I was."
He said "that band is awesome! I was so impressed, I never heard anything like that, I was blown away, that singer was just amazing and Tinch was great on the guitar, I am coming to Wexford (20th anniversary) show, and I am bringing others."
Then he said " That band really changed my Life. Really, I will never be the same, God bless you." Greg didn't know it, but the same guy also came up to both J. and Tinch after the show the previous night with similar comments. He told J. the concert was the "most inspirational thing I've ever seen."
We also received this email afterward from another person in attendance at the show:Thanks for the awesome concert in Butler this past weekend. You all sounded amazing! My husband lost his job two years ago due to another's mistake, and it's been a very long process trying to get his job back, so getting to see and hear all of you was a real joy and an encouragement to us. Thanks again. You're a tremendous blessing! That woman and her husband also plan to be at our anniversary show. How about you?
Special thanks to:
