Last Weekend in OK
Wed., Oct. 10. 2012 12:18pm EDT

Thanks to everybody who braved the cold and rain to see us last Saturday at WordStock Bible Festival in Sallisaw OK. We had fans come from as far away as Arizona, plus the further reaches of Arkansas and all over Oklahoma!

Wordstock festival was inspired by the biblical accounts of Nehemiah rebuilding the wall and then Ezra reading the Word to the people. The church built a 140-foot-long wall fronting the highway, and the pastor dressed as Ezra and read from the scrolls every two hours on top of a 15-foot pulpit in the middle of the wall.

Here's an email we received from our concert promoter:

We really enjoyed having you guys; the show was incredible, even if it was cold and wet. That was my first time to see you live and it was a blast. You all are a joy and I look forward to seeing you again.

Blessings
Pastor Lance Nelson

Here are some email/Facebook comments we received from fans in attendance:
My wife and I traveled 160 miles to see you guys play and we loved every note. What great music and what a great message you guys delivered.

Thirteen years ago my wife suffered a massive stroke which left her paralyzed on the left side of her body. Because of the weather, I didn't think that we would be able to see the entire show. However, she was so inspired by Todd's testimony that she wanted to meet and visit with him.

I knew that the band needed to get packed up and move on to the next show, but he took the time to visit with us and we are so grateful that he did.

Guys, we are 52 years old and love your music and ministry. You have old fans as well as young fans. God bless your ministry and we'll see you the next time you come to Oklahoma.

Amazing concert! You all did a great job. It felt like being back in the 'burgh and old times, just missed the rest of the family. Thank you for all you do! So thankful for you ;).

Bartlesville OK

God is good! A 70 percent chance of heavy rain and sleet. We prayed God would split the storm to go around the concert site. Surprise! We got few sprinkles when either side was getting sleet and rain! ApologetiX was outstanding -- a great, blessed band being used by God!

As usual, you guys were awesome here in Oklahoma. Thanks for playing in the rain and cold.

Thank you so very much for the concert in Oklahoma last night. You did an awesome job! Your new parodies sound so awesome! I eagerly await your new CD and the DVD when they release.

God bless you, and hopefully I'll see you again in Arizona sometime, but until then, "One more song! One more song!" :)

Steffi Edwards
Tempe AZ

You guys were awesome. Totally worth standing the cold and the rain.

Stigler OK

Thanks again for yet another great concert! We were very impressed with the quality of the show that you put on in spite of the cold, rain, wind, and technical difficulties with mics, etc. It was well worth the drive from the Tulsa area and we were both glad we got to go.

Honorable mention to: Steffi and Connie Edwards, who traveled all the way from Tempe AZ and have now seen us in Arizona, Oregon, and Oklahoma.
