Last Weekend in WV & PA
Wed., Mar. 27. 2013 9:50am EDT
The ominous noises emanating from our rental van didn't exactly instill us with a lot of confidence, but God got us safely to and from our concerts this past weekend in Grafton WV and Langhorne PA. And we were very grateful for that.
Those were our first concerts with the new Hot Potato Soup CDs in stock, and we celebrated by including 11 songs from it in our setlist.
Here are some email/Facebook excerpts we got from fans in attendance:
Wow, great concert Saturday night! (Of course)Special thanks to:
It was kind of even better since I hadn't seen the band in a long time. I forgot just how good you guys are.
Todd, clearly you have brought the band's stage presence to a new level. Keith, the stage presence of you and Tom clearly show you are "brothers of different mothers."
J., I was thinking about your "sermonette." When I listened to New & Used Hits yesterday, your sermonette was about witnessing. Saturday seemed to be about just how "safe" we are in our relationship to Jesus. Clearly, we need to be reminded of both ideas and a lot more.
Thanks for some great reminders of God's Word!

Awesome concert! May God bless you guys and your ministry.

I really want to thank you for singing happy birthday to my daughter Saturday in Langhorne. It really meant a lot to me and her. I checked the dates from the previous concerts and it had been since July 2004 that I saw the band last, so it was great to see J. and Keith and get to met the newer members as well. I hope the trip went smoothly for you guys, and I can't wait to see you guys again.
Our crew: Greg and Evan
Our concert coordinators: Ben Stottlemyer (Grafton) and Blair Benjamin (Langhorne)
Our merchandise coordinators: Nicole (Grafton), Nikki, Hannah, Janelle, Rachael, and John (Langhorne)
Honorable mention to: Evan Gross, who attended his 135th and 136th concerts, and is now in sole possession of third place on our all-time most-concerts-attended list.
