Last Weekend in OH & PA
Wed., Jun. 26. 2013 1:57pm EDT
Last weekend, we played our final concert with Todd on keyboards (Mansfield OH) and our first with the mystery new guy (Cherry Tree PA). Both concerts were a success.
On the way to the mystery new guy's first concert, our trailer blew a tire. Considering our collective history of vehicle problems under our previous two keyboardists, that's probably a good sign. :) In fact, on the way to Todd's finale the night before, our bus was acting up and one of the people at the church discovered (and fixed) a sliced cable in the engine.
So, the more things change, the more they stay the same. As a matter of fact, our trailer tire blew right at the exit for Kent State University, the same place where the old bus bit the dust earlier this year. Thankfully, this time it was a lot brighter (i.e. not at night) and warmer (i.e. not in the dead of winter).
Here's a nice email excerpt from a deacon at Saturday's concert:I really enjoyed your show. ApologetiX does a fantastic job and are still going strong despite all of the personnel changes over the years. Thanks again for a great show this past Saturday evening.

Kinport Assembly of God Here's a great email excerpt from a fan at Friday's show:I was at your concert Friday Night. I didn't get a chance to tell you guys, but I really enjoyed your passion to get God's Word out in your music and presentation. Thanks for your ministry.
Jesus is calling each of us to something better. Thanks for reminding me that with your willingness to get crazy for Him. I know you are touching hearts and drawing all of us a little closer to Him. Keep up the good fight!
